Job Details

Court of Protection (Finances) Associate Solicitor.

A brilliant senior level opportunity has come up with a leading national Court of Protection team at their Leeds office.

This Top 50 firm is currently recruiting an Associate Solicitor to join the Court of Protection team, a fantastic opportunity to work closely with its clients and help provide a legal service that demonstrates an expert hand with a human touch. The team has a strong reputation in dealing with the full range of Court of Protection services, including deputyship services, gifts, enduring & lasting powers of attorney, and replacing deputyships with private trusts.

The firm has dedicated COP departments over 8 UK offices, and provides a specialist nationwide service, combining legal expertise from financial management, planning, investment, taxation, and returns to the Court.

This is a superb opportunity for you to develop your skills and experience within an established and innovative environment. Coming in at Associate level, you will have supervisory duties to work alongside the Partner managing the wider team. Clear progression routes will be on offer.

The role will cover most aspects of Court of Protection work, including deputyship applications, on-going deputyship administration, and ancillary applications such as trustee orders, interim orders, making applications to the Court of Protection for deputyships for property, and affairs for Professional Deputy Appointment, as well as Lay Deputy appointments.

Ideally, you will come from a strong Court of Protection Finance background, however, applications will be considered from applicants from a different discipline, so if you feel you could be a suitable applicant for this role with experience that may be transferable, please do get in touch.

In addition to your competitive basic salary, the benefits package with this role is outstanding, to include free parking, a contributory pension scheme, critical illness cover, health cash plan, death in service, and more.

Please get in touch ASAP to discuss this Leeds based Court of Protection (Finances) Associate Solicitor role further.
