Contentious Probate Solicitor - Key Senior Appointment

One of the regions' most prominent law firms is keen to strengthen its contentious probate offering with the appointment of an additional Contentious Probate Solicitor at Senior Associate level.

Based in the heart of Warwickshire, this practice is an award winning full service Legal 500 listed and Chambers ranked law firm that offers specialist legal advice across the full spectrum of legal disciplines to clients on both a local and national basis. The firm prides itself of on being a people centric business so putting its members at the centre of everything it does is paramount to its philosophy.

The firm is looking to appoint an additional Contentious Probate Solicitor to bolster its current offering and so is keen to speak to a contentious probate solicitor who has a minimum of 5 years' PQE. The Contentious Probate Team has access to high quality contentious probate work which is not surprising given that its core client base comprises HNW and ultra-HNW individuals, owner managed business, professionals and those with landed estates. Consequently, some of the cases the team is instructed on invariably attracts media attention and the firms' lawyers are also regular commentators on developments within the sector. As such, it is crucial that you have experience of not only dealing with high value and technically complex contentious probate matters but also professional negligence matters emanating from the wider private client arena.

In addition, you will have the option to participate in business development initiatives and help shape the team in the future so progression opportunities are abundant. You will have a good deal of client exposure and have the chance to forge a successful long term career within the contentious probate arena as well as have the opportunity to progress to the partnership.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced contentious probate solicitor to join a leading firm whereby you will be required to think of innovative solutions for clients when acting on unusual and challenging development initiatives whilst significantly broadening your skill set and future prospects.

The firm comprises a number of very experienced and well known lawyers who commenced their careers at national and international law firms in Birmingham city centre before deciding that they preferred a less politicised and more meritocratic practice without having to compromise on the quality of work so if you have the same sentiments this could be an ideal role for you.

A very competitive salary is naturally on offer given the firms' reputation in the market and the benefits package includes free on-site parking, 25 days' holiday (which increases year on year), private medical insurance, subsidised gym membership and a host of corporate benefits.
