Full time
Contract type

A bright, technically capable and client focused residential property solicitor is now required for one of the leading Staffordshire firms. Our client has an excellent reputation across all commercial and private disciplines and is well known for the quality of work on offer and career progression opportunities. You will be joining an exceptionally well managed firm with a loyal client base.

*Flexibility in start/ finish time as well as remote working are on the table for the right candidate*

With numerous departments recommended in the Legal 500 and awards/ accreditations backing up their commitment to staff and client care, there are now over 70 staff and they continue to go from strength to strength.

The successful solicitor PQE is likely to come from a full-service firm rather than high volume conveyancing background. You will be dealing with high quality and sometimes complex residential conveyancing work to include sales, purchases, leasehold, freehold and re-mortgages and possibly new-builds. Good organisation skills are a must together with a sound understanding of property law and processes.

The firm is proud of the volume of instructions that come through repeat business and recommendation, and there is a culture of client care and relationship building. It is important that you share the firm's ethos in this regard.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply through the advert or contact Joe Rees at Thornton Legal directly. All applications treated in strictest confidence.

Up to £250 paid in vouchers for successful referrals. Terms and conditions apply, please ask for details.

Stated PQE and salary levels are for guidance only. All applications demonstrating the skills necessary to fulfil the role will be considered.

Testimonial: After registering with several agencies, I found Thornton Legal to go above and beyond what I was expecting. Initially there was advice and assistance in preparing a suitable cv enabling me to have the best chance of attaining an interview. Constant updates helped me come to the decision of moving my employer, and I didn't feel any pressure to make a quick decision. They offered sound advice in respect of what the other agencies should be doing on my behalf, in order that I could keep a control of my situation. The service from Thornton Legal stood out compared to the other agencies, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking alternative employment or just looking for advice on the job market.
