Quality and Compliance Co-ordinator required for legal 200 law firm in sunny Dorchester.

Client care is a founding principle of this long-established firm, in addition to maintaining a supportive environment for its staff where merit and achievement is rewarded. Based in its office in the historic market town Dorchester, Dorset, a new position has arisen at our clients firm for a Quality and Compliance Coordinator.

The Role
Providing support to the Partners and fee-earners within the firm, having solid quality and compliance experience gained within a similar position in the legal framework, the successful Quality and Compliance CoCoordinatorill handle a varied and challenging workload.  Duties will include initiating and implementing systems; reviewing policies and procedures to identify improvements to working practices; compiling and analysing internal and external information; planning; monitoring quality and compliance within the firm. Although primarily based at one of the practices offices, additional travel to other office locations will be required as part of this position.

The Candidate
Applications are encouraged from Quality and Compliance Co-ordinators or Office Managers with extensive knowledge of compliance procedures;
Having gained experience within the legal framework candidates should be familiar with various governing bodies including the SRA, CQS and DBS; 
A good understanding of Anti-Money Laundering regulations and the ISO 9001 Certified Quality System would be highly advantageous;  
Personable with outstanding communication on all levels with the ability to explain complex matters clearly;
Candidates will demonstrate strong IT skills able to utilise IT systems to improve business processes;
Possessing excellent organisational skills with a flexible approach.
