Senior Family Solicitor; Associate

A Family Senior Solicitor is required for a fantastic opportunity with a highly regarded firm at their office in Croydon.  The salary on offer is negotiable dependent on experience plus a benefits package.

My client is a leading law firm in the South London area, established over 200 years ago but prides itself on being a modern and progressive firm. The firm provides the full range of legal services to Businesses and Individuals, their Family team in Croydon is thriving and due to continued growth, they are looking to add another Solicitor to the team.

The successful Family Solicitor will be required to manage a full and varied private case load including divorce, ancillary relief (financial) matters, as well as co-habitation disputes and private children law. It is essential that candidates have experience in handling all of the above and are able to work unaided and also part of a team.

Applications are invited from experienced Family Solicitors who have at least 4 years’ PQE managing a caseload of predominantly private law Family matters.  Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a full caseload of private law family matters
• Developing new business for the department
• Maintain and create new client relationships
• Supervising junior team members
• Assisting with marketing the department

You will manage the growth of the Family department at one of the firm’s thriving branch offices, so business development acumen is essential.
