Commercial Litigation Solicitor - Manchester

Our client, a highly regarded Top 40 private practice law firm, are seeking a commercial litigation solicitor to join their team.

The firm are looking to hire an experienced commercial litigation solicitor at ideally the 1+PQE level to work directly in support of the partner in Manchester as they have work flowing and wish to maintain market momentum. The team conducts a wide range of business dispute related work including contractual claims, defamation, fraud, construction and engineering, regulatory, and professional negligence claims.

Beyond fee earning you will work alongside colleagues to further develop and expand the service in the region so it is important that you have an aptitude for and interest in networking and business development. You'll also be a lawyer who enjoys assisting with the professional development of less experienced colleagues and having supervisory responsibilities when necessary as an integral part of your role within the department.

Ideally you will be a 1+PQE commercial litigation solicitor and will have preferably gained your experience at a large commercial practice (Top 100) or boutique commercial litigation outfit. You'll be responsible for assisting with and handling a broad range of commercial disputes, so you'll need to be confident and be used to building rapport with clients from many different backgrounds. An understanding of the North West market is beneficial, but applications from lawyers looking to relocate back to region are welcome.

As should be expected for a firm of this calibre, they offer a market leading salary and benefits, and excellent scope for your professional development in a highly rated team. They are a well liked brand and continue to be a popular option with candidates from regional firms and also from the Top 20 who are looking for a firm with a UK focus as oppose to international ambitions.

If successful, you will be joining a highly respected team and will benefit from a generous salary, benefits package, and the opportunity to develop your professional profile.

Florit Brooke advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
