Corporate Commercial Lawyer

Applications welcome from Corporate Commercial specialist (5+ years’ PQE.)

We’re instructed by a medium sized and independent Cheshire law firm, which is looking to appoint a further specialist to the Corporate Commercial team. Business continues to go from strength to strength with new client wins, lateral hires and increased levels of instructions.

This is a senior and strategic level appointment requiring a technically strong lawyer, who is able to manage transactions and clients’ expectations. The nature of the role and future career path available would suit an ambitious lawyer with team leadership and client development skills.  

You will have opportunity to act for a diverse client base including large private limited companies, SMEs, OMBs, entrepreneurs and partnerships. Enjoying a client facing role, you should be confident in your ability to nurture relationships with existing clients and intermediaries and be alert to and proactive in building future work streams.

The team offers a comprehensive service business clients and typical instructions include:

• Mergers, acquisitions and finance
• MBOs and MBIs
• Group and company re-structuring
• Partnership and shareholder agreements
• Commercial contracts and trading agreements
• Supply, agency and distribution agreements
