Corporate Commercial Solicitor. An experienced corporate commercial solicitor is required by a commercial department for a law firm in Kent.

Responsibilities:

Preparing and advising on a range of commercial agreements including Distribution Agreements, Agency Agreements, Terms and Conditions of Trading, Franchise Agreements, as well as bespoke commercial agreements.

Advising on the formation, variation and dissolution of partnerships.

Acting on the acquisition and sale of business assets including business assets sold as part of a transfer of a business as a going concern.

Acting on the purchase and sale of private limited companies through the sale of their share capital.

Working as a member of a team with the Head of the Department and its trainees on larger commercial transactions including management buy-outs and investor buy-outs.

Advising on all areas of company law relevant to private limited companies.

Assisting with the development of the Department with local business in the community, including local referrers.

Attending as the Department’s representative at various public events including speaking at seminars organised by the firm.

The role is commutable from Maidstone Canterbury and Ashford.
