With new funding secured, this local authority is looking to invest within new projects and programmes within the area, create new jobs and increase growth across the region. With a plan already in place, they are looking for like-minded individuals to help them achieve these goals whilst also providing exceptional service to the authority.

As a Commercial Solicitor, you will provide legal advice on commercial contracts, grant funding arrangements and procurement matters, support the Local Authorities projects and schemes and manage and take responsibility for a caseload of relevant legal work, although there will be other duties in the position. These are just a few of the duties required by the role, others may also come in to play when requested, however, you, the candidate have the knowledge to be able to tackle any problems head on.
The successful candidate will have built up a good knowledge of Company Commercial Law throughout their career and will be looking for an opportunity to really drive the development of the Commercial department.
