Your new company

Due to an internal service redesign, we are now looking to recruit Locum Legal Assistants to work in the Education and Appeals Team on an on-going basis. Your new role

As a Legal Assistant, you will be working in the fast paced and supportive Education and Appeals Team. You will be required to provide support to the Legal Team including the preparation of court documents such as bundle packs and liaising with other legal representatives. You will also be required to carry out day to day administrative duties such as scanning and filing. There will be the requirement to take notes and work to tight deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed

As a Law Graduate, you will ideally have or being working towards your Legal Practice Course / CILEX and it is essential that you have a good understanding of legal processes and procedures and be able to convey information clearly and concisely in writing and also face to face. You will also need to be an exceptional note taker and knowledge of the Schools Admissions Appeals Code and the Schools Admission Code would be highly beneficial. You will be able to work as a member of a team, but also under your own initiative and be able to manage your own workload.
