Residential Property (New Build) Team Leader

We are recruiting for a mid sized regional law firm with an outstanding reputation for property focused work.

They are seeking a Residential Property Solicitor or Legal Executive/Fee Earner with good quality Conveyancing experience to lead their New Build Conveyancing Team.

The opportunity

Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licensed Conveyancers with at least 3 years' experience of running their own caseload, from instruction through to completion and post completion.

Previous management experience i.e. of running a team is desirable.

The New Build Team deals with all of the firm's new build conveyancing work, a large proportion of which comes via referrals from regional and national house builders.

The firm

This firm has been established for many years and has a large conveyancing department of 12 fee earners and additional support staff.

Working alongside the residential conveyancing team (sales/purchase) is a separate "new build team" currently consisting of 2 fee earners and 2 legal assistants.

The details

You will lead a team of 4 dedicated members of staff, recognised as one of the best in the local area and dealing with all aspects of new build residential conveyancing including plot purchases and associated sales and part exchanges.

What is on offer

Salary up to £38,000 plus bonus and 25 days annual leave.

Earning potential is realistically in the region of £45,000.

Parking on site.

This residential property lawyer/ conveyancer role will also involve getting involved in the local business community and business development.
