The firm has an exciting new vacancy for a Construction Lawyer to join their modern City of London office.
You will work as part of a small but highly experienced team of 10. You will deal with a broad range of work; the department deals with both contentious and non-contentious construction. Their clients include residential and commercial developers and National House builders, investment funds, entrepreneurs and Housing Associations undertaking large high-profile developments, urban regeneration projects.
The team works closely with other departments of the firm and forms part of the significant real-estate offering to clients. In addition to development projects, they also work on large infrastructure projects and have a specialist in renewable energy.
Their contentious practice covers the full variety of dispute resolution procedures including litigation, arbitration, adjudication and expert determination, on issues ranging from delay and final account claims to defects and professional negligence claims.
This role comes with good prospects for career progression.
- You will be a Construction Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE + (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
- You will have broad Construction experience, candidates from either contentious or non-contentious backgrounds will be considered
- Experience of dealing with Housing Associations will be to advantage, but is not essential
- You should have a good technical knowledge
- It is essential that you have strong communication skills and the ability to build solid client relationships.
- Salary is negotiable depending on your level of PQE plus an exceptional benefits package.
