Private Client Solicitor

One of the largest and longest established law firms in North Yorkshire is currently seeking applications from strong Private Client Solicitors to join their established and expanding team. Previous Private Client experience is essential for this role and those looking to work on top quality matters are encouraged to apply.

The team is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious solicitor who is keen to get stuck into the work on offer and really contribute to the growth of the department.

The Role

The team is busy therefore you must be able to hit the ground running and pick up an existing caseload of work.
This will include handling wills, LPAs, estates, trusts, tax, probate and elderly client matters.
The firm is keen to develop court of protection and lasting power of attorney work so experience in this would be highly desirable, however certainly isn't essential for the role as the firm is wanting to hear from candidates who are keen to get involved in developing this work.
There will be the requirement to work from the firms other North Yorkshire offices from time to time.


The Candidate

They are ideally looking for someone who has at least 2 years PQE, however this is just a guideline and candidates that fall outside of this bracket are encouraged to apply.
As this is partially a development role, the successful candidate should be keen to get involved in business development and networking to generate new clients and contacts.
You must have excellent communication and client care skills.
You will be organised and efficient with the ability to work well alone and within a team.
