An opportunity has arisen for an In House Lawyer to join a small, but market leading, financial services company based in South Manchester. The company offers financial advice on an international scale, and are looking for an experienced In House Lawyer to deal with litigation matters on behalf of the company.

The Role

  • Reviewing applications in relation to a wide range of matters including professional negligence, contractual disputes, property litigation, contentious probate, insolvency matters to name a few.
  • Evaluate cases to identify any inherent risk/potential loss element in order to mitigate losses.
  • Review and assess reports from panel solicitors
  • Assistance in the maintenance of policies and other relevant documentation

The role would suit an In House lawyer with at least 3 years PQE, who has experience running commercial litigation cases end to end. The role includes direct involvement with senior members of the business, and there is also scope to develop your own leadership skills, due to an opportunity to expand the team by one. The company is small enough to make a difference, so is the perfect opportunity for an In House Lawyer wanting to make their mark in a supportive, forward thinking company.
