THE ROLE

· Identifying opportunities for business development within a highly successful residential property department
· Building and maintaining effective senior staff relationships, utilising a collaborative working approach and strong engagement skills
· Managing, leading and building the Property team
· Managing key relationships with current brokers and lenders to ensure continuous service improvement
· Demonstrating an excellent technical knowledge is essential as this will be beneficial when assisting with the enhancement of the firm's case management system
· Demonstrating thorough knowledge of the Conveyancing industry and the process of business development
· Role modelling of key values: Can-do, Helpful, and Customer-Oriented
· To lead and manage team members to ensure objectives are met through support, performance management and development
· To keep line manager informed of all relevant and timely information
· At all times comply with statutory requirements for handling personal and sensitive data in a confidential manner
· To manage own priorities, workload and development
· Responsible for annual planning in accordance with the Board strategic plan
· Responsible for managing the team
· Decision making within agreed parameters
· Responsible for adherence to legislation and good practice principles in all areas

REQUIREMENTS

· Experience of working in the Conveyancing industry
· Proven experience of building and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships using a collaborative working approach and stakeholder engagement
· Proven experience in a management role including planning and execution, people management
· Proclaim case management experience
· Ability to lead and motivate others, generating commitment and a shared sense of purpose
· Ability to empower and encourage others to contribute to the best of their ability
· Willingness and ability to work co-operatively and supportively with colleagues, developing positive open working relationships
· Ability to supervise, motivate and envision team members
