Insolvency & Recovery Solicitor - Non-Corporate Environment

QED Legal is working with an exceptionally strong regional firm that is now seeking to consolidate its Insolvency & Recovery offering in the West Midlands with the appointment of an additional Insolvency Solicitor.

The firm has a very strong pedigree and has a network of offices throughout the West Midlands and the Black Country and it is particularly active within the property sector. As a whole, the firm is a full service offering and is able to boast a very strong client base comprising individuals, local businesses, SMEs and national commercial entities.

This role can be based at any of the firms' offices which cover the West Midlands and the Black Country and would suit those who have a minimum of 2 years' PQE of dealing with both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters to include both corporate and personal recovery matters.

This role is different as it is not just limited to fee earning as you will also have the opportunity to get away from the office and participate in business development and marketing in order to open up new revenue streams and enhance the offices' standing within the locality. It therefore follows that there is scope for swift progression within the firm and you will also be able to strengthen your standing within the local market by reinforcing your links with the vicinity.

This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious insolvency practitioner who has a desire to work at a very strong firm and who is keen to make their mark in the sector so if you are an experienced practitioner who is concerned about limited progression opportunities in your current role then this opportunity is definitely worth exploring.

Naturally a competitive salary and benefits package is on offer which includes 23 days' holiday entitlement as well as extra holidays over the Christmas period when the office closes. The firm also prides itself on its non-corporate environment and actively promotes a positive work/life balance and the working culture is such that the environment is very much focused on providing a high-quality client centric service rather than being a more regimented set-up with there being very few KPIs and metrics to be adhered to.
