JOB TITLE: Commercial Property Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED: 0 - 4 Years

Due to a recent expansion within the business, this highly regarded client is looking to appoint an experienced and commercially aware solicitor to join their growing East Sussex division. The role will sit within the Commercial Property team, and will involve managing a caseload from a diverse range of clients, including landowners, investors, developers and private house builders. With a strong focus on business development, you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to provide knowledgeable expert advice in order to market the firm effectively and generate new business. The Commercial Property Solicitor should pride themselves on their ability to provide a first-class client service.


The desired individual will have around 0-4 years of PQE within the Commercial with experience in landlord and tenant work, including advising on existing leases, licence to assign, drafting new leases and acquisition of freehold and subject to leasehold properties. With a successful demonstrated history of business development, the new recruit will show an innovative ability in attracting and retaining new clientele. A positive approach and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must in this role as you will be building and managing relationships with new and existing clients. The position requires the Commercial Property Solicitor to be capable of: working under minimal supervision; illustrating excellent analytical and decision-making skills; working both on their own initiative and working cohesively within a team. The ideal candidate will have previously worked for 2+ years in Commercial Property within a highly reputable firm, or have completed at least one seat of their training contract in Commercial Property.
