The Firm
This full-service law firm can trace its history back to the end of the eighteenth century and has been run by successive generations of the same family since that time. Over the last decade the firm has seen a period of rapid growth and now has six offices across the Midlands and East Anglia region. Highly regarded, this Legal 500 firm is known as one of the country’s leading commercial law firms with clients ranging from local businesses through to global enterprises and government departments. The firm upholds its traditional values of providing excellent client service and combines this with a commitment to using the latest technology and a determination to provide excellent working conditions, as a result the firm has achieved nationally and internationally recognised awards including Investors in People and Lexcel Practice Management accreditation. Fee-earners are encouraged to develop new areas of specialisation and the firm offers excellent career potential as well as an outstanding range of benefits; these include financial support to study for further professional qualifications, enhanced parental leave, an ‘exceptional performance’ bonus scheme and generous holiday allowance.

The Role
An opportunity has now arisen for an ambitious junior lawyer to join the employment law department. This includes representing clients in the Employment Tribunal as well as at the High Court and dealing with all related dispute resolution and mediation matters. The team advises on regulatory issues, contracts, employment handbooks, all disciplinary matters, redundancies, restructuring, TUPE, collective agreements, industrial relations, settlement agreements, data protection, equality and diversity, pensions and benefits and more. Additionally, the firm advises on cross border and international employment law issues and provides bespoke training sessions for management and staff in all aspects of employment law.
