Our client has been established for well over a decade and is a boutique firm who specialise solely in Employment Law and HR advice. The firm woks with hundreds of companies, from Yorkshire based SMEs to larger national organisations and this client base is expanding. Due to this they are keen to add an experienced Employment Law Solicitor to the team. This addition will enable the firm to continue to deliver a high level employment law service to their growing client base.
Your role will be to provide non-contentious employment advice on a high quality case load of employment contracts, TUPE, redundancy, unfair dismissal, workplace procedures, restrictive covenants and much more. You will play a key role in representing companies at the Employment Tribunal and also act as a dedicated employment law advisor for their growing client base. In addition you will be integral to providing clients with training on employment law, adding to the amount of client contact that this role will provide, giving you a great opportunity to make a name for yourself amongst some great local and regional businesses.
Our client is ideally looking for a confident individual with 2 or more years' PQE, however this is given as an approximate guideline and the firm is happy to consider applicants who fall outside of this, so long as they are able to demonstrate the relevant technical ability and enthusiasm for the role.
You should also have excellent communication skills in writing, business presentations, interpersonal communication and the ability to influence at an executive level. Plus a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
