In-house Property Solicitor

An experienced Property Solicitor is required for an innovative and community led social housing provider in central London. The role would be perfect for someone with a background in residential property matters who is keen to work In-house. The business has an incredibly low turnover of staff, offers competitive salary and benefits packages, flexible working, and is housed in impressive offices in the heart of one of the most creative and lively districts in London.

The business has been in operation for over 10 years and is one of few social housing providers to be recognised for including their tenants feedback in their development plans and decision-making processes. They are also recognised for their work in helping elderly tenants stay independent and have pioneered schemes that have caught the attention of similar organisations across London.

The successful Property Solicitor will be the first point of contact for all legal matters across the extensive property portfolio; working alongside external counsel in managing leases and landlord and tenant matters across nearly 4000 residential properties and 100 commercial properties. You will report directly to the MD and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders across the business.

Applications are invited from Property Solicitors, ideally with more than 5 years PQE, who have extensive experience in landlord and tenant matters. Those with purely residential experience are encouraged to apply, although it would help to have had some exposure to commercial property. Applicants could be from Private Practice, In-house, or other social housing providers.
