Our client is a leading regional law firm and is looking to recruit a Solicitor with a strong corporate/commercial background to join the professional support team in Nottingham.
The firm's corporate/commercial team is particularly busy and as a result this has fed through to the professional support team who is needing to recruit. They need an experienced solicitor to support the team with the increasing workload. Since the role includes dealing with black letter law, creating development plans and knowledge management, it would really suit someone who has a keen eye for detail and enjoys the levels of intricacy and analysis need for such tasks.
Working with both the corporate and commercial teams, you will be exposed to a really broad range of matters and can become ingrained in both teams, as well as having a direct team of your own in the PSL department consisting of a senior PSL and a legal assistant.
Candidates with at least 3 years' experience in a corporate commercial role are likely to have the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the role, however this has been given purely as a guideline and those who are not quite this level yet can demonstrate the relevant technical ability are also encouraged to apply.
