The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious Private Client Lawyer to join our clients’ well-regarded practice on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. As part of a specialist team, the successful Lawyer will enjoy a diverse caseload incorporating all aspects of Wills and Probate matters which will include: drafting simple and complex Wills and testamentary documentation; succession planning including tax advice and; estate administration with high value, complex business and agricultural assets. In addition, the ideal Lawyer will participate in business development activities, attending events and contributing to other strategies.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive from NQ – 2 years’ PQE with solid experience gained within a well-regarded Private Client department.
You must have excellent technical skills with a broad range of experience.
Consistent, strong academics with at least a 2:1 at degree level (or equivalent) are essential.
You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills across all levels.
You will be IT literate.
An aptitude for business development would be highly advantageous.
You will be client-focused with excellent drafting and organisational skills.
