A vacancy has now arisen for a lawyer to join the litigation team and take on a busy caseload of civil litigation matters. The Role
The civil litigation team deals with a varied caseload of instructions including employment, neighbour disputes, personal injury, professional negligence, contentious probate and property matters; judicial review, and partnership and other business disputes and represents clients in the County Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and the Employment Tribunal. As a result the firm is looking for a good ‘all-rounder’ who has a flexible, proactive attitude and a good level of experience in a similar role.

The Candidate
The successful applicant will be a solicitor of at least 2+ years’ PQE with demonstrable litigation experience and excellent drafting skills, a creative problem-solver;
Possess strong technical skills and be a determined negotiator and robust advocate;
A good understanding of costs issues is essential; as is an empathetic manner, and the ability to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language;
You will be organised, with good time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise the competing demands of a busy workload;
Have excellent client care and communication skills and be well presented and professional in appearance and manner.
