Contracts Paralegal required to join a commercial team within a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period. The role is to be based with a large local authority to support the busy team.
The successful Paralegal will be looking after their own caseload of contracts and procurement matters. Although it will also include assisting Solicitors in the team.
A knowledge of contracts and procurement within the public sector is essential, and it would be highly desirable for the successful candidate to hold a knowledge of Local Government. Our client is looking for someone who is also familiar with case management/time recording systems, as well as Microsoft office programs.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and be able to act upon their own initiative, as they may be required to support other teams in times of high workloads.
In return, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain contracts experience within a busy local authority. The office is easy to reach, situated in a location which is easily accessible by London Underground or Overground.
