Prosecutions Lawyer required to join a local authority based in Surrey for an initial 3 month period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced prosecutions lawyer to undertake interesting work within a local authority.

The successful candidate will take on a busy workload, which will involve managing a large caseload of civil litigation and prosecutions matters, which may include;

  • Fly-tipping
  • Environmental regulatory
  • ASBO
  • Public space protection orders
  • Food hygiene

Alongside this, you will be conducting advocacy at various levels, including high court injunctions

Any previous experience of working within a local authority would be highly desirable for this role, although not at all essential as long as a good knowledge of public law is held.

This local authority is very accommodating of their staff, allowing 1 day homeworking per week where suitable once settled in.
