Litigation Lawyer required to join a local authority based in Kent for an initial 3 month period.

The successful candidate will be a litigation lawyer with a wealth of experience across different areas, who is able to hit the ground running with an existing caseload.

You will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of litigation matters on behalf of the local authority, which will include;

- Civil Litigation

- Injunctions

- Housing matters

- Anti-Social Behaviour

- Eviction of tenants in breach of their contract

- Debt recovery

Alongside this, the successful litigation lawyer will manage prosecutions in relation to different issues, including fly-tipping and breaching licence conditions. This will involve advocating in local courts, as well as instructing counsel where suitable.

The office is well located, situated within walking distance from a range of shops and restaurants, as well as public transport links
