In-house Commercial Lawyer - Central Leeds - New Role

A lawyer is required to join one of the regions, recent success stories. My client is a progressive and burgeoning consultancy based on the outskirts of central Leeds in impressive and well known offices. They have a fantastic ethos and culture where hard work and dedication are rewarded.

Joining an award winning legal team, you'll be technically accomplished in the drafting and negotiating of national and international commercial contracts from both the supplier and purchaser's perspective, You will also be involved in giving other areas of legal advice such as regulatory, litigation, IT and data related matters

As well as minding your own matters within the team, it is anticipated that you'll make a contribution to training and overseeing work of more junior colleagues, providing ad hoc legal advice to various teams, and dealing with general legislation and specific legal and compliance areas relevant to the business. A team player with a positive attitude, you'll have strong communication skills for dealing with lawyers and non-lawyers alike, and you will be keen to build internal and external relationships. However, you must be a UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE in commercial or commercial projects background. If you are from outside the region and considering a relocation you must have valid connections to the region.

We know the team extremely well having placed a high proportion of lawyers with them over the last 5 years. The team has an array of talent from different backgrounds and his is a wonderful opportunity to join an expanding brand.

Florit Brooke advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
