The Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Solicitor handling Dispute Resolution (2-6 years PQE) to join an award winning, Legal 500 firm in Guildford.

The firm is highly regarded in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, ranking in the top tiers of the Legal 500. During the firms inception these were some of the Departments which helped propel its growth, and as such they have an excellent reputation with their diverse client base.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling Dispute Resolution in a broad range of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence matters.

Across the Personal Injury department, the specialist areas are; Orthopaedic Injury cases, employer liability claims, and Road Traffic Accidents. One of the Partners is also a leading solicitor in Court of Protection work specifically related to severe brain injuries.

Across the Clinical Negligence department there are 3 main areas of strength; cosmetic surgery claims, laser eye surgery claims, and delayed cancer diagnosis claims. Although experience in these areas is preferable it is not essential.

The ideal candidate will be looking to move up the ranks with the intention of ultimately achieving partnership.

Requirements

• You will be a Solicitor with Dispute Resolution experience, 2-6 years PQE.
• You will be keen to go out and engage in business development and build up your own client base.
• Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail are essential
• You should work well within a team
• You will deal with an excellent quality of work
• Salary is above market rate depending on your level of experience, plus an exceptional bonus structure and benefits package
