I am working with a fantastic Top UK law firm in Halifax who are looking to recruit a senior solicitor within their friendly motor team.

The firm has a nationwide network of offices which includes Liverpool, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Evesham. The firm also handles a variety of different areas to include aviation, construction, healthcare, motor, occupational disease, commercial dispute resolution, costs, employer liability and public liability making it a solid all-round firm.

The firm’s total head count is around 800 employees and they have an enviable list of high profile clients along with many awards.

The firm is offering a very lucrative salary along with excellent benefits. This includes 25 days’ holidays plus bank holidays, childcare vouchers, pension, death in service scheme, eye care vouchers and annual scheme to buy/sell holidays.

About the role?

Ideally, you will be a qualified solicitor or a qualified legal executive with defendant experience. However, consideration will be taken from claimant backgrounds.

You will handle your own Multi Track RTA caseload up to the valuation of £100k from inception to settlement/trial. You may also deal with some Fast Track matters.  Your caseload will be varied and complex, and you will be dealing with a variety of different clients and insurers.

You will be meticulous in your investigations and have an interest in dealing with high value claims.

There is also an opportunity after 6 months or so to start supervising junior members of the team should you so wish too
