Banking and Finance Litigation Associate

LAW Absolute is working with a US firm based in central London who have a apposition in their highly regarded disputes team for two associates to join them for an initial 4-8 month contract while they recruit permanently.

You will assist  the team with some interesting white collar crime and FCA investigations cases. The firm is looking for 2 associates with banking and finance litigation experience or general commercial litigation experience on short notice. you must have proven experience in either of these areas as well as experience in the commercial  and high courts.  The role is likely to be on a fixed term contract for 8 months and  will include dealing with white collar litigation work with some financial regulatory and investigations cases. due to the nature of the work and cases involved you must have proven experience in this area gained with a top city, US or international practice.

The firm work with client all over the world to include Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and beyond.  You will acquire broad litigation skills with this team who are recognised in chamber and other legal directories as a firm known and respected highly for their work in this area.

The market has seen a marked increase in requirements for experienced corporate lawyers of varying levels of experience across corporate Mergers & Aquisitions, cross border  transactions, private equity and AIM work.

The lengths of these assignments vary from 3 – 12 months.
