Governance Officer

With a proud history and a growing record of success, this organisation is steadily growing year on year and has a newly created vacancy for a Governance Officer with experience in introducing policies and procedures, leading small projects and managing a small team.

Your new role
You will report into the Head of Governance and will be responsible for a range of company secretarial duties in a member-led organisation, including support for board and committee meetings, project management, data protection compliance and introducing best practices.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a team player with a great attitude to working under pressure and leading by example. You will have working knowledge of governance principles and either be ICSA qualified or looking to become ICSA qualified. You will need to have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills as you will be engaging with senior management and key stakeholders.
