The role

The firm is seeking to hire a new Construction Senior Associate / Partner into their Oxford office.

The Construction department deals with an exceptional quality of work, normally only associated with that of top London firms. You will deal with both contentious and non-contentious work making for a more interesting role. The department has a leading reputation Nationally for the quality of work with many Lawyers being ranked as "leaders in the field". The department works across a broad range of industry sectors but with particular focus on education, charities, rural, banking and CleanTech groups. The work will be broad and include; Construction claims and disputes, Outsourcing, Procurement, Contracts, Planning, Regulatory and Strategic land.

You will be at the forefront of a growing department leading the team alongside the other Partners. This would be an ideal step up for a candidate in a top-heavy department seeking a route to Partnership.

You will work within a top-tier department, alongside a highly experienced team.

Requirements

  • You will be a Construction Lawyer with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
  • This would be an excellent opportunity for a Senior Associate looking for a route to Partnership, or a Partner seeking a lateral move to a dynamic, long-established Top 200 firm
  • Experience of managing a team is to advantage, but not essential
  • Excellent client care skills are essential
