Job Details

A role has come up for a lawyer who specialises in trust and probate work to join on of Cambridgeshires largest and most well respected firms.

The successful candidate will be joining the private client team of this national law firm with a focus to deal with the specialist trust and probate matters. Matters that you may be expected to deal with include things such as tax planning in relation to trusts, inheritance tax calculations, management and administration of trusts including accounting records and the administration of estates in accordance with tax compliance. The firm enjoys a fantastic reputation in this area and attracts a regular flow of high value work into the department.

You will likely be STEP, CIOT or AAT qualified. Experience of dealing with trust matters in a well regarded law firm or accountancy practice will be required. Experience of estate administration would be desirable but not essential as long as you can demonstrate strong experience in the area of trust work.

It would be beneficial if you could show experience of managing others as you may be required to supervise or manage a small team.
