The Firm
Established in 2000, our client is a niche and ever-growing law firm. Since 2013 the firm has actively grown a more traditional legal practice to sit alongside the core litigation business. The Role
This role will be taking over the Head of Department, ideally able to start in April. The department was established in 2013 with an existing caseload to take on, consisting of commercial property, commercial and corporate matters. This role is ideal for a Lawyer who enjoys and has experience in business development. You will be taking over an established client base of business owners and directors, small to medium enterprises and report to the managing director. The portfolio of matters will be mixed and split broadly into three areas (all in growth): commercial property and Leasehold; drafting and non-contentious, and business disputes and litigation. Your role will include but will not be limited to; managing a caseload of client matters in accordance with office procedures manual and Lexcel requirements; supervision of staff including file reviews, appraisals and training; designating management responsibilities; dealing with client enquiries and; undertaking legal research and maintaining legal knowledge throughout training. The Candidate
To be considered for this role you must be a Legal Executive or Solicitor with at least two Years’ PQE with individual accreditations and recognition.
Strong numerate, computer, organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to work well in a team.
Managing/supervising a team is a crucial part of this role.
Show resilience and be self-motivated throughout.
