Our client, a highly regarded Top 40 private practice law firm, are seeking an Employment solicitor to join their team.

The firm are looking to hire an experienced employment solicitor ideally at the 1+PQE level to work directly in support of the partners in Leeds as they have work flowing and wish to maintain market momentum. The team conducts a wide range of employment matters for respondent clients including HR teams and national businesses.

Beyond fee earning you will work alongside colleagues to further develop and expand the service in the region so it is important that you have an aptitude for and interest in networking and business development. You'll also be a lawyer who enjoys assisting with the professional development of less experienced colleagues and having supervisory responsibilities when necessary as an integral part of your role within the department.

Ideally you will be a 1+PQE employment solicitor and will have preferably gained your experience at a large commercial practice (Top 100) or boutique commercial litigation outfit. You'll be responsible for assisting with and handling a broad range of employment matters both contentious and non-contentious, so you'll need to be confident and be used to building rapport with clients from many different backgrounds. An understanding of the Yorkshire market is beneficial, but applications from lawyers looking to relocate back to region are welcome.
