My client, a top 200 law firm and Legal 500 rated practice in the city are seeking a Commercial Lawyer of 2- 4 years PQE to sit within their commerce and technology department.
Ideally you will be a Commercial & Technology lawyer with a mix of transactional and advisory experience with 2.5 years PQE plus. In addition they are looking for:
Preferably with experience of Data work (but does not need to be GDPR expert);
Preferably with experience in financial services;
Extended secondments and/or in house experience will be viewed favourably;
Enthusiastic about the area of law and sectors that they work in;
Someone who looks to apply their knowledge to our clients in the form of solutions and/or product ideas; and
Self-starter in terms of reading up on subject matters within their practice areas and sectors.
You will have practised in broad commercial law in a city or leading regional practice and have a very strong academic background.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of talented, intelligent and ambitious lawyers who often join the firm from Magic Circle practices. It will suit lawyers who prefer to have greater autonomy in their roles and are looking for a more attractive work life balance.
