Fancy working in the beautiful, historic city of York? Are you worried that you wouldn't have the same quality of work and environment you might find in Leeds? Well, this role at a leading regional law firm combines both!
Our client is a successful, long-standing practice and is dedicated to further growth by building on the strong base they have already created, whilst also preserving the reputation they have for delivering first-class legal advice to their clients. The highly-regarded firm are now looking to recruit an Employment Lawyer to join the successful team in the York office.
Due to the team's busy nature, you will be able to come in and hit the ground running with a varied and high-quality caseload of respondent Employment Law matters. Candidates with experience managing claims through the tribunal process and providing employment support in corporate/commercial transactions would be ideal.
Since the firm is committed to further growth, business development will also play a part in this role, meaning you will have the chance to build new client relationships through networking and other marketing activities. For this reason, the opportunity would really suit someone who really enjoys client contact and meeting new people.
This firm combines traditional values and beliefs with a modern and dynamic outlook and the IT systems and support in place reflects the quality that is normally expected from a bigger firm. Furthermore, the team has a great atmosphere and supportive working environment, making it the perfect opportunity for like-minded individuals who value that team spirit.
The firm takes a genuine interest in its employees and believes in continual investment and training, meaning you will always be supported in your career development and progression. The firm appreciates that everyone is different and will tailor development to your needs, no matter what level.
Our client envisages candidates with 4 or more years' PQE to have the skills and experience necessary to succeed in the role. However those who are perhaps less experienced are still encouraged to apply, so long as the relevant technical skills and enthusiasm can be demonstrated.
So if you are looking to take that next step and establish your career in a top regional firm, why not apply today?
