A well established, multi discipline firm based in Norwich are looking to grow their busy Dispute Resolution Department with the addition of a Personal Injury Solicitor.
The successful applicant will handle a broad caseload of personal injury matters for claimants (and on occasion defendants). You will manage mainly (but not exclusively) MOJ and non MOJ portal fast track cases. Work will include RTA, EL, PL and CICA claims as well as matters involving assault/trespass and accidents abroad. You will also assist the Head of Department on larger catastrophic personal injury and clinical negligence work.
This opportunity has arisen due to the success of the department and large volumes of work coming into the business. You will play an instrumental role in developing the firm's services and reputation as well as marketing the firm within the local area generating new business opportunities.
To be considered for this position you must be a qualified Solicitor with 0 – 3 year PQE in personal injury law. You will be confident in handling a large and varied caseload of personal injury matters autonomously, and will have a keen interest in business development. You will have strong advocacy skills at chambers level dealing with interlocutory applications and CMC hearings.
The salary on offer is dependent on experience and will be in the region of £28,000 to £40,000.
