One of the largest specialist Civil rights firms in the country are recruiting. The firm have been established 50+ years and have offices in the West End, City and nationally. The firm are solely legal aid, however they are really highly regarded for being cutting edge and paving the way for market trends are often the first port of call by the media for comment on market changes etc. The firm are really well known for the Human Rights work that they do and have worked on some of the largest cases in history in this country.

The firm really pride themselves on supporting clients on Human Rights and Civil Liberties at the firm and have a good ethos at the firm holding the state accountable for their actions, challenging discrimination and fighting human rights and environmental abuses. Candidates must have the same ethos!

The firm are seeking a Social Housing Solicitor to join their award-winning team at their Central London office.

The successful candidate will need to have solid experience in acting for tenants in both the public and private sector in relation to representing them against local authorities and government departments. You will need to fulfil criteria to be a LAA Housing Supervisor on commencement of the role as well as have sound knowledge of the Legal Aid scheme and CCMS. This is a supervisory role so, you will need to have already gained at least 4 years of good experience in a similar position.
