Owing to sustained success, the firm is now expanding its team and hiring a Commercial Associate for its office in Exeter, Devon.

The Role
Joining a team of highly experienced lawyers, the successful Associate will utilise their skills and expertise to advise a range of businesses and public sector organisations on all aspects of commercial legal matters. Areas may include: drafting and negotiating contracts relating to terms of trade; software licensing and intellectual property exploitation; trademark applications; data protection; brand management; website terms and conditions and; IT outsourcing. Experience in all aspects of commercial contracts, IP and IT matters will, therefore, be essential.

Additionally, the successful Associate will take pride in delivering high levels of client service, building long-lasting relationships with their clients and attending networking events as required. This is a rewarding role, with exposure to high quality matters and progression to partnership for the right candidate. 

The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with solid experience in Company Commercial, IP and IT matters;
Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts will be essential;
Candidates will be highly organised, able to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy;
Able to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language and develop strong client relationships;
Consider yourself to be personable, adaptable and detail orientated;
Have a desire for professional development.
