A highly regarded practice in Sussex requires a Family Lawyer to join them on either a locum or permanent basis. The firm are looking to expand their Family Department due to the plethora of work they are receiving. As a result, they will consider taking on suitable candidates on either a locum or permanent basis.
The role is due to start ASAP and if the candidates join on a locum basis, the role would be for an ongoing duration to assist until a permanent member of staff has been secured.
The caseload will include a mixture of Private and Legal Aid matters to include divorce, separation, children act matters and matrimonial finance.
Candidates will need to be able to work autonomously and pick up a full caseload. Membership and accreditation with the Family Panel, Children Panel or Resolution would be highly beneficial – as would the willingness to become a Legal Aid Supervisor.
