Due to increasing success and the subsequent increasing workload, they are now seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their team.

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Cashier to join a busy accounts team within a modern firm based in Cardiff. The successful candidate should have experience covering client and office cashiering in a reputable law firm as well as up-to-date working knowledge of SRA. The role will consist of a busy and diverse workload including: entering bills on ledgers; filing; client to office transfers; handling staff expenses; processing payments including CHAPS and cheques and; dealing with accounts queries. The position will require the successful candidate to cover other assistants within the team and ad hoc work for the Accounts Manager.

The Candidate
You will be a Legal Cashier with experience from a reputable firm covering client and office cashiering;
Previous experience using a practice management system such as Practice Manager or Elite Up;
Proven knowledge of the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules;
Positive attitude with a desire for career progression;
Excellent client care and communication skills.
