This firm is looking for a Construction Solicitor to join a flourishing office in Chelmsford.
The Construction Department is a highly ranked department and houses many top tier City Lawyers. You will work as part of an entrepreneurial, forward-thinking and commercially minded team.
You will be part of our multidisciplinary Construction Team advising clients on all types of construction disputes, including payment issues, extensions of time, loss and expenses claims, defects, professional negligence and insurance claims. Cases are run in adjudications, the TCC, county court and arbitration. You will also advise on construction documentation including contracts, sub-contracts, collateral warranties, professional appointments and bonds.
Training will provide if you have no non-contentious experience. The role also includes advising on other contractual and commercial disputes.
This role comes with excellent prospects for progression.
- The firm are seeking a Solicitor with between NQ - 3 years PQE
- Ideally you will have some Construction experience, but the firm are open mind to training a candidate with good disputes experience
- You should be a commercially minded individual
- You should have a meticulous eye for detail
