The firm works on behalf of a varied range of clients including PLCs, listed companies, owner managed business and start up companies across a broad range of sectors including tech, bio, media, construction and engineering.

You will be working alongside a partner based in Cambridge and will be instrumental in the growth of the Corporate & Commercial department in this office. Due to the size of the team you will be an integral part of the team right from day 1 and have real influence on the future of the team and the office, rather than just being one of a number of lawyers in a larger team.

The culture of the firm is one whereby high standards are expected in order to maintain their reputation but they also promote a healthy work life balance. Excessively long hours are not the norm within the firm which is a far cry from many other corporate teams at larger commercial firms.

Genuine progression opportunities will be available within a firm that looks to offer a structured career path and who take their responsibility to staff development seriously. Having placed people within roles at this firm previously i have seen first hand the progression opportunities and opportunities available to lawyers within the firm and it is a firm lawyers can reach their potential and fulfill their career ambitions
