Legal Project Manager

We are currently working on a very exciting opportunity for a solicitor from a Commercial background to join a top ranked law firm in Birmingham in a Legal Project Manager role. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a technically astute lawyer with project management experience to move into a varied and strategic role. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the efficient management of sophisticated client engagements, helping to deliver control over progress, timetable and budget and allowing fee earners to focus on legal issues.
The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years post qualification experience, gained within Commercial, Banking, Tax or Competition law (whether they are currently practicing or not). The post holder will act as a main point of contact for clients, and as such the role would suit a candidate who is drawn to the people side of the business. Duties of the role will include working on internal initiatives, as well as liaising with clients and overseas counsel, and involvement in pitches.
