Position - Court of Protection Solicitor
Private Client/Solicitor/Legal Executive/Court of Protection/COP Solicitor/ COP Legal Executive

A new opportunity has opened for a qualified Solicitor or Lawyer to join a leading, regional firm in Oxford. The role will offer an excellent salary and benefits package. Working as part of an established Private Client team, you will focus on Court of Protection matters and provide mental capacity law experience that will help grow the court of protection specialism within the firm.

My client looks to appoint a Solicitor or Legal Executive to work with the Oxford team dealing with Court of Protection work. The caseload includes; assisting injured parties, elderly clients and those with special needs to manage their property & affairs where a deputy order is in place. The work will include drafting applications to the Court of Protection, assisting with the purchase and adaption of properties, bank account and budgeting reviews, meetings with clients, liaising with the Court and the Office of the Public Guardian, preparation of annual reports, billing and file management.

Required Skills and Responsibilities;

- Experience in Court of Protection work.
- Experience in handling high value Personal Injury claims.
- Able to engage in business development and marketing work.
