Company Commercial Solicitor - 5 years + PQE

A rare opportunity has become available for a motivated lawyer with excellent technical skills and an understanding of the importance of client care to a leading firm's thriving Bristol office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a forward-thinking team which undertakes a broad range of clients across a variety of sectors.

If successful, you would be joining a dynamic team which advises household names, major corporate clients, SME's and owner managed businesses on the business contracts that support and underpin the growth of their business.

Work would include expanding sales networks through international agency and distribution networks, sales (both B2B and B2C), procurement of goods and services, outsourcing of non-core operations, joint venture exercises. Our work is often framed within the regulatory environment relevant to our client.

You would be joining a lively and supportive group consisting of 4 partners and 2 solicitors. The role would require you to hit the ground running and work closely with the lead commercial Partner and the two junior lawyers in the team. You would be expected to supervise two motivated and personable junior lawyers.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor, Barrister, CILEX or equivalent and have experience and knowledge in general commercial contract drafting and reviews; IT contracts; Outsourcing agreements; Distribution agreements; Franchise agreements and supporting documents; Working knowledge of competitive procurement processes and the contracts that underpin them; Sound working knowledge of the law of contract and tort; Knowledge of IP licensing.

Excellent attention to detail is essential and you must be able to demonstrate analytical skills alongside good planning and organising and time management.
