Your new company
This local authority in North-West London is looking for an experienced Contracts Lawyer to join their large, specialist legal team in supporting local councils and their clients on matters related to contracts, procurement and information. This will be a 3 month rolling contract.
Your new role
You will manage a caseload of contracts, procurement and information matters, providing advice and representation where required, as well as undertaking research as requested. You will work for a number of public sector clients across this local authority's shared service team. You will provide advice and training on relevant developments in law and policy, as well as supporting more junior staff where required.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, CILEX officer or foreign qualified lawyer with relevant experience in the UK. You should have up-to-date exposure to contracts, procurement and information law, with at least 2 years' PQE, though other levels will also be considered. You should have prior experience providing advice to senior and junior members of staff alike. On being made an offer, you will be required to undertake a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check.
