Your new role
The firm are looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor to join their practice team in London. You will be responsible for running your own caseload whilst assisting on higher value, more complex cases. Their team of Employment Lawyers have worked on many precedent-setting cases and everyone they represent, from the highest ranking senior executives and partners to junior employees, receives the best legal representation and the highest level of consideration at all times. This is an exciting opportunity to join a law firm leading the legal market in this field.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require a minimum 2.1 degree from a reputable university, demonstrate a solid track record of advising on employment matters, with 3-6 year's post qualification experience within a private practice employment practice team. You will need to be able to demonstrate commitment to employment law as a legal specialism. Exemplary case management, organisation, direct client contact and care, and attention to detail are all essential skill sets. You will need to be able to delegate to and supervise secretarial and support staff as well as more junior members of the team and assist with department training. Experience of establishing and maintaining long term client relationships will also be advantageous.
