Adult Social Care Solicitor required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period.

This role will involve managing a busy caseload of adult social care matters, which may include;

- Court of Protection

- Deprivation of liberties

- Non-recourse of public funding

Additionally, the successful candidate will ideally be picking up judicial reviews for s17 and s20 childcare matters, therefore any previous experience of handling these would be greatly beneficial.

Our client is preferably looking for an experienced local government lawyer, who is looking for the opportunity to gain variety and undertake some childcare work alongside adult social care.

This local authority is well located, situated within walking distance from the nearest public transport links. They also offer up to 1 day per week of home-working, where suitable, to allow for work-life-balance.

We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Chelsey Newsom in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
